Dead water zones.

In nature, there are bodies of water that are called dead zones because of the barrenness or even extinction of almost all life. The cause of the dead zones in the water is because of the lack or non-existence of oxygen in the water, there are many things that cause this to happen.

The most common cause of the depletion of oxygen in the water is the decaying algae which consume oxygen in its decaying process causing the water to lose some of its oxygen, but when there is a lot of algae it will lose a lot. The cause of the algae blooms or population booms is usually because of an overabundance of nutrients in the water for the algae to eat causing a boom, which will cause barrenness and death because of the loss of oxygen.

One of the well-known examples of the dead zones occurring is in the Gulf of Mexico, occurring because of the overabundance of nutrients from the sediments of the Mississippi River.

Taking Notes.

Note-taking daily life for an autobiography needs to be successfully and fully, described and recorded, the things that are going around us in our daily life. There are several things that needs to be written during note-taking that are essential to describe fully things that are going on around us.

The main part of note-taking your daily life is that you need to write the main point or event of that day or season of your life into a summary so that when you are looking at your notes in the future you will easily know what roughly happened to your life in that period of time. The main point could be as short as a sentence for the events of a normal day into a whole page for a season of several years in your life.

Another important part of note-taking that needs to be written, is the minor and background events because the minor events will better fully show what really happened around you. The minor events are usually not important in themselves except that they will explain more fully the main event.

There are other things that will make the notes about the events of your life better and more descriptive by putting the time of the events not just the general time and putting the exact locations of the events and also the description of the environment in the events happened in.

In the autobiography there was a season in Frederick’s life starting from 7 years old when he was learning to read. The reason he could even start reading was because he was moved from being a slave in a plantation into Baltimore city becoming a slave to a city family in 7 years old age. Reading profoundly impacted Frederick’s life in the short term and also in the long term. What benefits would I get from writing an autobiography?

The main reason of writing any kind of biographies is to record a life story of a person. Biographies are written and recorded in a book for people ages in the future to read after the death of the person written about, so one of the benefits of autobiographies is that your life story will be preserved to read for future generations as part of your legacy.

The second main reason in writing an autobiography of yourself is that you will record all the memories you remembered while writing the autobiography making all the memories stored forever in a book even when you forgot everything of your past life, so the benefit of writing autobiography is that memories of your past life will be preserve forever.

A third reason to write an autobiography is that you may record and write for everyone and yourself what is the cross roads that shape your life and what is the choices that you took in the crossroads that shaped and influenced your life right to the present day.

A fourth benefit of writing an autobiography is by recording every hurdle and difficulties you endured and solved. From the past problems in the autobiography you may see what you did right and what you did wrong and shouldn’t repeat and also shows for future generations guidelines and ways to pass their new problems and difficulties and not how to.

A fifth benefit in writing an autobiography is the experience you will gain in writing old memories and searching facts and compiling them into one piece of literature. The experience from writing an autobiography will greatly benefit you in future book writings or any other kind of writing.

There is sure much more benefits you and I will get by writing an autobiography that is not written in this paper.

J.P Morgan.

John Pierpont Morgan was born on April 17th 1837, in Connecticut to a well-off and influential family. His father, Junius Spencer Morgan, and his mother, Juliet Pierpont. John’s childhood was filled with changing schools frequently; going to 5 or 6 different schools in his life. some of the schools he went to were in America but he also went to school in Europe.

John at first entered his father’s business firm Peabody, Morgan & Co. Eventually he owned a firm of his own named J.P. Morgan & Co. With his firm, he usually took charge of buying a failing business , than reorganized that business into a profitable one. He became rich this way.

After he became a rich man he entered into the railroad industry and bought many failing railroad businesses and reorganized them to make them profitable. He combined the railroad businesses together to create even larger railroad businesses. Morgan and his firm eventually became owners of multiple giant railroad corporations.

In 1901, he entered the steel industry and bought many small and large corporations of steel, coal, and shipping. He even bought the gigantic Carnegie steel company, merging them to one great company: the United States Steel Corporation which became the first billion-dollar business in the world.

Besides becoming a great businessman he saved the American government and Wallstreet from bankruptcy. During the panic of 1893, the American government lost a lot of gold and in 1895 almost all the gold of the government is almost gone, so the government asked for help from Morgan. Morgan organized many businessmen and made them loan thousands of ounces of gold to the government. In the panic of 1907, he saved Wall street instead of the government at the request of the government. The way he saved Wall street is by putting money from the US Steel to Wallstreet stopping the Wallstreet from crashing.

John Pierpoint Morgan died in Rome in the year of 1913. He passed away in his sleep.

Morgan in his lifetime consolidated and made giant corporations. He even saved the government from being bankrupt and Wallstreet from collapsing.

Immigration to America in the Late 1800’s

There was a great raise of immigrants from Europe to America in the late 1800s. There were many reasons why the people immigrated to America. One being the opportunities in America, and crisis in their own countries.

The people who came to America mostly came from the countries and regions of Europe are Great Britain, Ireland, and Scandinavia, but some came also from southern and eastern Europe and even some from Asia. All the people that migrated from Europe and Asia used boats to cross the great Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The Europeans took the route across the Atlantic ocean to immigrate to America landing on the east coast cities of America like New York, but the Asians took the route across the Pacific ocean and arrived in the west coast cities of America.

When the Immigrants arrive in America they are tested for their health before entering America in immigration processing centers such as Ellis Island in New york.

The reason why many Europeans came to America in the late 1800s is because of Europe’s many crises and the rising economy of America. In Europe, in the late 1800s, there were famines, wars, and social upheaval in Europe such as the Irish Potato famine and the Franco-Prussian War which cause many to seek refuge in America. In America, in the late 1800s, there was an economic boom and increasing prosperity because of the great Industrialization revolution and the peace America had and vast lands filled with natural riches that was untouched caused America to be a land of opportunity where anybody that wants to work hard to go ahead in life will likely succeed made an allure that many Europeans cannot resist causing millions to immigrate to America.

Many people in Europe and in Asia came to America because of the troubles of their homeland or the opportunity in America or both they came in great masses to America to seek a better life.

President Jimmy Carter

Jimmy Carter was born to a rich farmer family in rural Georgia in October 1924. Rural Georgia is comprised inside the deep south where slavery was once predominant causing it to be among the last strongholds of ethnic segregation, so Jimmy grew up in that segregationist culture, but he didn’t like it until he had many close black friends, which formed his anti-segregationist stance for the rest of his life.

Carter first entered into politics when he became a Georgia state senate. He eventually wanted to try to become the Georgian governor, but he failed because he openly wanted segregation to end, so he lost. Carter didn’t give up on this first loss, he worked harder but with a different strategy, he became close to segregationist leaders making him look like a segregationist causing him to be elected as Georgian governor. When he became governor he suddenly showed his desegregation side and made much legislation desegregating Georgia.

In the 1967 presidential election, Jimmy successfully became president mostly because of him not having been corrupted by Washington DC politics and other things.

Jimmy Carter did many good things as president, but sadly got many hard challenges that he cants solve. The hard challenges are like the 1970s recession, reescalation with the Soviet Union because of USSR invading Afghanistan, and the worse was the Iranian Hostage Crisis where he cants successfully free American hostages in Iran for 444 days.

He was a bad president because he can’t deal rightly with the hard challenges he faced, but he was not a bad guy, even winning a Nobel Peace Prize.

Spreadsheet

I learned that I make a good income from tutoring, and other jobs for my parents. Another thing I learned is that keeping track of your spending is very helpful and useful, it saves me time and money. I feel good knowing my monthly income is more than enough for the expenses I have. After really looking into my income and the amount of time I take to do my jobs; I have come to realize that for the amount of time I take I have a really good income. I’m glad I figured out how to budget correctly and efficiently.

This is definitely the shortest assignment I have ever been given, but overall learning how to budget better was very useful.
